Country Road Motel owner/manager Rod Harvey has been helping travellers in North Queensland sleep easy since the mid-1990s.

Country Road Motel offers clean, comfortable, affordable accommodation for guests travelling through, or lingering longer, in Charters Towers.

All rooms are air-conditioned with self-catering, private bathrooms, flat screen TV and free Wi-Fi. Off-street parking is available for guests’ cars, RVs, trucks and buses.

Had stayed before and always found clean with wonderful service. Found out this time they offer evening meals. What a meal! The most enormous plate of food! Delicious home-cooked fare and exactly what was needed after a long day. You need to order meals ahead – it’s well worth eating in.

Great stay here for 1 night, very clean large room with a comfortable bed. Everything we needed. On way out of town for the journey next day. No noise and a lovely balcony to sit out on and enjoy fresh air and a drink.

Friendly, clean and adequate for a traveller. Food? What can I say, massive evening meal and so, so good. Breakfast equally substantial and a wonderful meal prior to heading off.  Definitely where I will `stay when in Charters Towers again.
